About Poachers Alpacas
We are hobby breeders based on the Northern edge of Dartmoor keeping Alpacas, Pygmy Goats and a range of smaller mammals and birds purely for pleasure.
We have been keeping Alpacas since 2004 and breeding Pygmy goats since 2009, and although we do not show our animals we have concentrated on breeding from animals of very high quality. We frequently have a small number of animals for sale, bred from this stock, which are suitable for both breeding and pets.
We also breed chipmunks and chinchillas, and a range of birds ranging from ducks, peafowl, and guinea fowl, to owls and parakeets, including budgerigars, lovebirds and cockatiels. It is usually the need for space which provides our main reason for disposing of stock, but if you do not see what you are looking for try dropping us an e-mail, since we can sometimes be persuaded to part with stock not actually listed.
